Life in Hawaii is breathtaking scenery and beautiful beaches, but there are also dishes in the sink and work to do. Here’s a little glimpse into a week in The Strong Home.
This week started off with Mother’s Day. Our church did a drive thru event and gave each woman a lei. I really did lay on the couch and watch our church service on TV with a lei on. I guess I wouldn’t do THAT in Texas. I’ve been teaching my kids really important lessons like this. My kids are definitely building lots of character. Every morning at 8:30 we head out on a walk to the “Best View” at the end of the street. Only this particular morning it was more like 10:00 a.m. because I obviously can’t be expected to be perfect all the time. It’s actually a 360° “Best View”. I still can’t believe we get to live here. Homemade pizzas for the win! And just look at all those dishes piled high in the sink. I left them there just so you’d all feel good about yourselves. Get the ever-so-complicated recipe HERE ! We celebrated the reopening of Oahu’s beaches today by going to play at Kailua Beach! I’m told it’s the #1 beach in America and I would have to agree! Kind of makes up for that sink full of dirty dishes. So there you have it folks, a peek into our week! Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE to The Strong Home so you don’t miss a thing!
